I will never shop at this or any other Zales again and will go out of my way to let everyone know how unethical if not just lack of knowledge of the staff / manager of what happens with their jeweler repair process. I purchased a ring enhancer/jacket/wedding band for my diamond solitaire engagement ring. White gold, I was told that they could sauder my ring and the new band together and they would re-plate the gold this was to take 2 weeks after we approved the "repair estimate" that took several days and when we received the estimate there was a $52 charge to "tighten loose diamond's" (plural) Well my engagement ring is a solitaire also the Diamond was NOT loose! They wanted to charge me to tighten loose diamonds on the ring I just purchased from them and never wore??!! The manager couldn't give me a straight answer and refused to pass me up to the next person in charge. We told them not to repair it that I would be by to pick it up and possibly return it for a refund ( I love the ring though) the guy when we picked it up said there were no loose diamonds that it was just their practice for insurance purposes??!!! But charge the customer are you kidding me??? You buy a piece of jewelry and they charge you to fix it and there is nothing wrong with it? They also tried to charge for the work that was not done on my fiance's ring when they told us we called in time to cancel any work. We took to another jeweler in Jax that day who confirmed there was nothing wrong with the rings. Zales wanted to charge me a total of $335 to re-tip the prongs on my solitaire (not needed) re-plate and tighten diamonds that were not loose! The jeweler that did a fabulous job on my ring that day! Yes I have my ring already, charged me a total of $139 for the re-plating, resizing the solitaire down as it was a 1/2 size bigger than the band (Zales didn't catch that) and suadering them together. They are beautiful! Do not let Zales send your diamond jewelry out for repair!!! What a rip off I'm disgusted by the entire experience. Kat and Sam

Horrible. Brought in item for repair. Used subpar parts that broke that evening. Damaged item further. Asked for refund for the fact that their parts were the ones that broke and further broke the bracelet. Ignored for 5 days. DO NOT USE THEIR REPAIR SERVICE UNLESS YOU WANT TO RISK MORE DAMAGE TO ITEM. Said they would "repair the repair" is this a joke?
Called into to inquire about exchanging an item purchased online for an item in store before making the drive. The man on the phone was very rude to me, and unhelpful. There is another zales outlet store across the street in the prime outlets outdoor mall. The staff at the other one was very friendly and helpful compared to those at this location
