The city attorney, Isabelle Lopez, is in a contract with the city where she does not have to be reviewed, is paid nearly as much as a state supreme court justice and if she had to make in private practice wouldn't make it out of probation. Her legal advice is more provocative than focused on compliance with the letter and spirit of the law by city officials, she allows herself and her office to be abused for political advantage, and is generally not a good steward of the public trust as far as my dealings with her have gone.
THey are awful...so if the Wedding Authority...if you are looking to use them...DO NOT!
