The answer is go to the park, not the zip line.
Don't pay for the zip line. That's my best advice and why they don't get 5 stars. The actual activity was fine, I would probably zip line again just not with them. If you like the photos and videos people post online of zip lines, you won't get that here their photos are trash and you aren't supposed to bring your own camera or phone or anything with you (which I'm hoping is because they want the animals to be safe and not that they are greedy) and when I went they were supper nasty. The little training the employees clearly didn't want to do, then one employee signaled multiple times for me to put my hands up while on the zip line (which is a no no that I was reprimanded and threatened with being taken down like a child for not the employee) which made the rest of the experience really uncomfortable as I felt I couldn't trust any of them which did not make me feel safe . They reminded me multiple times when asking to just end it faster that I wouldn't get my money back. Terrible experience. This was awhile ago but someone asked me if they should go after finding some photos unposted from the actual park on my Instagram and I figured I would make an official review on it to send to them.
Kind of expensive but we were actually very impressed with the variety of exotic animals (birds especially), that were in addition to the many gators and crocs
The park is great. We love looking at the gators and birdwatching when we attend St.Augustine, amazing for kids, elders, and adults alike. My step dad LOVES feeding the gators, I take photos of all the birds I can, and my mom loves watching how the birds walk.
Wow has this placed changed in 10 years! Took my cousins there and their daughter did the zip line. It was hot but she did it! It was difficult for to snap on & off the clips cuz they only have big gloves and she has small hands. The park is a lot bigger then I remember. They have more than just alligators, saw all kinds of different crocs, albino gators, birds, snakes. Feeding is fun to watch before you go find out the feeding times. They also have shows in the pavilion, here you can pet some snakes. Have quarters ready to buy gator pellets to feed gators. They come rushing towards you when they hear that clanking sound as u turn then handle on the food dispenser. They have a food court (outside not air conditioned), but free refills. A must see for tourists and locals that haven't been in a while! Locals get a discount and military and AAA members.
plus you can zip line over the crocs
Educational &fun for the entire family
Great park with lots of gators and crocodiles to see (600+ individuals!). Bring some 25 cents coins so that you could purchase the gator food to feed them from a bridge
