Don't expect anything fancy. This is a small beach restaurant.
This is the only "beachfront" restaurant we could find in St. Augustine Beach, but there is no view of the water, only high dunes, which are also lovely. There are sand toys in the sand near the deck and this seems like a great place to park your kiddos while waiting.
Great service, great food, great location! I found this place based on the only beach-front location near St Augustine. Turned out to be a great pick, with delicious well-cooked shrimp boil and yummy fish dip. They also have my favorite draft Coppertail Free Dive. Servers are friendly and hard working. Beautiful beach, steps away.
We have gone here several times before coming to St. Augustine it is basically a tradition at this point. Food is great their burger is great but be prepared to have a little gas afterword. They allow dogs to come so our dog was able to come with us and stay. The staff was nice and our waitress sat down and talking with us sometimes and she gave use ice water for our dog. The calamari is a little tasteless but the main entrees are great. It is relaxing to sit outside and here everything runs on beach time so if you are coming here don't get mad at a wait unless it is like 2 hours. Just be prepared I don't have a problem with this but some people do. So in the long run I would give this restaurant an A-.
We had the special Comber Nachos, which were very delicious. The white sangria is topped with ginger beer - also delicious!
Awesome. I always love to get fish tacos and a fun drink at a beach restaurant and this place was perfect. Baja fish tacos blackened with fries was on point. Service was great. Atmosphere perfect. I ate outside and had a great view of the water between the sand dunes. I would definitely come back. I had no wait, but we did come on a Thursday at noon.
Went here when every other restaurant was packed. Tucked away on beach and glad I went. Peel and eat shrimp and Conch chowder was great. Good atmosphere. Indoor and lovely outdoor beach dune view seating.
