On Friday evening they have live entertainment ... a mic, a guitar and great voice.
The whole clams with linguine and white sauce was fresh.
3rd visit. Lunch is good, great portions and quality food. There isn't a better Italian out this way.
Some times they over sauce the pasta and other dishes.
First off, I had very high hopes for this place as we are moving to the area and would love to find a great Italian place. Unfortunately we did not find it here. We came at lunch time and there was one server for the entire restaurant (inside and outside seating). Once seated we were approached quickly and drink orders were placed. The drinks came out promptly and the orders were taken at that time. During ordering we asked about the pizza by the slice that was on the menu but with no price. We were advised that there was a special for two slices and a drink for $6.95. We asked about a single slice and her answer was "less than that". So I ordered the special for my son, the couple with me ordered a single slice to go with their meal. I also ordered the ravioli ($8). The garlic bread and Italian wedding soup was great, but when my ravioli came out, there were 6 pieces of ravioli, more like an appetizer than a meal. The sauce was not appetizing at all. Our drinks were not refilled until the meal was pretty much complete. When we received our checks, the single slice of pizza was $1.50 and the drinks were $1.99. So their proposed two slice special would cost me more than purchasing two slices and a drink separately. When I brought this up to our server, she rolled her eyes and tired to justify the pricing, which after a short argument she ended up correcting. All in all not a great experience
This place, despite the restaurant is a bar. the music is far too loud for the dinner hours. Could be a good place for dinner however you can't hear yourself think. Used to love it hate it now
Robert at the bar is exceptional. Spagehti Carbonara (with baked chicken) is best ever.
Relaxed atmosphere in the bar and dining room. Service was good.
