Excellent place. very clean and friendly service. The food is fresh and super healthy. It is totally vegan with a large and very creative menu, my wife and I were delighted. Highly, highly, recommended.
Quite overpriced for the portion of food and the quality. I won't say it doesn't taste good because it was decent for a vegan restaurant which is rare to find in North Florida. The burger I ordered was really good but messy and virtually impossible to eat without struggling. The sushi roll we ordered was poorly made and did not even gold together. One could easily go to a sushi restaurant and order the same thing by asking for substitutions and pay less than half the price you pay here. It would be possible to say otherwise if I had ordered something else but I did not expect it to be so overpriced for the food served, even as a all vegan organic restaurant.
The Present Moment is a hidden gem, well worth a side trip into Saint Augustine. The food tastes incredible and the customer service is always warm and helpful. Those looking for raw foods will find several excellent options. Not to be missed is the Universe Smoothie; I bought the cookbook expressly for that recipe. Overall, this place is a favorite of ours when we are in the area. Your mouth and your gut will thank you for checking this cafe out.
My experience in the restaurant was mediocare at best. The food was bland, and although they had interesting dishes, the actual flavor was very disappointing. The staff was pleasant and the decor, inviting. My girlfriend and I asked for the pad Thai and the zucchini pesto, with an appetizer of salsa and guacamole - I cannot stress this enough, the mediocrity was appalling. The total of our order was the hardest $50.00 I have ever had to let go of, the people sitting next to us returned the food and left the restaurant. It’s sad to see, new, hip, vegan restaurants overprice their underdeveloped plates, rather than helping the vegan movement, they deter people from exploring a vegan diet by giving into the “expensive” stereotype the lifestyle choice often carries.
Great Vegan/vegetarian place to eat. A coworker of my husband's recommended this place to us when he heard we were vegan. The food was delicious! We had to wait a long time for the food to arrive, but it was fresh and well worth the wait. Dairy free desserts (although I was too full to try them, we will next time!
