Submitted an online booking email form to book a birthday surf lesson at another shop. Got an email saying someone would contact me. Several days later no call. I emailed again, I again was told I would be contacted. It never happened. I ended up booking at PIT SURF SHOP instead. PIT SURF SHOP has an online booking system that is wonderful and much more reliable and painless!! Pit is right on the beach and has the most amazing place to eat in the same building called STIR IT UP. We had a great lunch after our lesson. I am so happy the other surf shop had no follow up or we never would have met ROY. He was so lovely to get a lesson with. There were basically no waves, so he suggested we surf on paddle boards, and it made for a great day. Ask for ROY to do the lesson if you go the PIT SURF SHOP, he was a blast. We can't wait to go back!!!!!!
Great customer service, I was greeted right away. Will did a great job and pointed me in the right direction and great knowledge on the sunglasses I was looking for. We will definitely be back.
Great local spot to rent bikes or anything you need for the beach. Nice selection of shades and beach gear. Staff is knowledgeable and very helpful especially Ramona.
My 13 year old son had his first surf lesson. The Pit is a great place. Highly recommend. Roy, the instructor, was amazing. It was a very rough day and Roy spent the 2 hours in the water and had my son surfing on second try. The rest of the crew at the Pit is also great. If your in the area, need a surf lesson or gear. I recommend you stop by!
