Ms Lindblom's. response is an example of how unprofessional and condescending this dental office is to their patients. Amazing how far they will go to shame and defame their patients, calling them a liar to save face.
Next day I called at 8:30am. Another woman (I think) answered and I started to explain to her about yesterday. But, she then cuts me off and starts lecturing to me, quote, “We had a half hour blocked off for you yesterday and the doctor and assistant waiting , and you didn’t show up”, like she didn’t hear anything I said…
Kevin Conway's recollection of what happened with his dental appointment is inaccurate.
Note she omits that it was 1150 when they called me back.. ->Because they Don't answer their phone ! I wish my description Was "inaccurate" as she claims..
Her rude and unprofessional demeanor was quite a turn off. Not what you want to deal wit when you’re having problems with your teeth.. There are too many better choices in St Augustine , particularly better treatment by the Dentist’s employees.
Mr. Conway had an appointment schedule on 10/3/17 at 3:00 PM that he did NOT show up. This was an 80 minute appointment. Mr. Conway rescheduled for the following day at 4:00 PM. At 8:20 AM Mr. Conway called to cancel this appointment (we usually ask for 24 hours notice) this was also an 80 minute appointment, and we yest again rescheduled Mr. Conway for 10/5/17 at 11:20 am. At 11:30 AM Mr. Conway called to say he would be 5-10 minutes late... At this time he was already late... at 11:50 we called Mr. Conway to find out what was going on... Mr. Conway stated he was 5 minutes away... That would make it 11:55 AM at the dental office for treatment... Being an 80 minutes appointment, we now have 45 minutes left to treat Mr. Conway... Another patient is coming in after him, and we do not have enough time to treat him. We therefore told Mr. Conway that we would not be able to see him, since we had no idea when he would actually show up, or if he would show up. For every appointment Mr. Conway made the dentist and the dental assistant waited with the room ready just for him, while other patients might have liked that appointment if they had known in advance.
While giving Herself 5 stars. Which is a Google violation... What else needs to be said.... Shameful. .!
We treat all our patients with respect for their time as well as their personal wishes and comfort. Unfortunately, we were not able to be flexible enough in our schedule to allow Mr. Conway to be a "walk-in" patient... We hope Mr. Conway all the best of luck in finding an office that can be flexible enough to accommodate him.
Called Thursday 10/5/17 to tell them I was running 10 minutes late for a 1120 appt. NO one answered the phone. I left a message... was about 1130am...After 5-10 minutes a lady called and she said "can you be here by 12?". I said I am across the street and will be there in 5 minutes. She was pleasant and said OK. About Two minutes passed ad she called back and said ,”I’m sorry, but I forgot I already booked someone else. You can try and call tomorrow”.
