I had a competitor of HMS scheduled to do a residential utility relocation project for about a month, when, the day before, the company contacted me via email, to inform me they needed to reschedule. I was not happy. The permit from FPL takes at least two weeks, let alone all of the other scheduling items, like my job and the cable relocation..... so now it was back to square zero.
Hate when I get taken like that by so called professional with no work ethics or moral, highway robbery! Do not hire them.
Poor customer service! Wouldn't return little more than one week without running hourly meter ($95) after brand new appliance fails to run...no power. Insisted they stood by their work? Follow up to my post after finding an electrician familiar with swimming pool electric it was determined that HMS had nicked a wire in connecting the power and that it had shorted and burned. Buyer beware!
So I (luckily) got in touch with Robert at HMS, had him come out for a quote, and now I'm pleased as can be to have a new 200amp service panel, and all the work completed better than I could have hoped. These guys take pride in their work. Would recommend them to anyone.
Less than 1 star! But the lowest I could give this crook. Had an issue with a sump pump that was not getting current. HMS came, and he plug it in... (the tenant had unplug it by mistake). Next he checked a fan that would not turn on, and said the electric system had to be re-wired from the outside panel, to the inside panel, as there is no attic access he would also make holes in the ceiling, had to be done done asap, and scared me saying the house could catch on fire, stated he would email me an estimate. Came the bill, $90 per hour. He had been there less than 1 hour, and he charged me for 1 ½ hour ! $145.00 I contested his bill (had done nothing either) and said he would charge me 1 hour if I paid cash. He then followed me to the bank where he got his cash. Never emailed me an estimate either.
HMS is the best. We had some issues with a 30 y/o washer-dryer combo. My husband thought he would be able to fix it himself, but just by seeing the picture, Robert could tell there were bigger issues. He sent two of his guys out the next day and they completed the project impeccably in under an hour. Reasonable price as well. I highly recommend HMS!
