(Warning: Not a place you'd take small children! The figures in the museum are very graphic) Very interesting museum, definitely a chilling glimpse into the darker side of human ingenuity. The exhibits are very interactive, and it has a fitting atmosphere. Larger than I would've thought, it took us a good amount of time to see everything.
My only suggestion would be to have more descriptions for how some of the exhibits were used, some didn't have too much detail, and relied more on existing knowledge (I had to explain to a couple how the brazen bull worked, for example).
I came into this place expecting a small, not very intricate museum. However, I was proven wrong. I was blown away by the detail and interactivity of this museum. Although not for the faint of heart, it provides grueling depictions of the old days of torture. I also enjoyed interacting with the many contraptions. I would definitely come here again.
My girlfriend and I had a blast! This is a totally unique experience. Informative and realistic displays.
This place was awesome! The amount of detail put into the devices and the "victims" was incredible. I would actually get chills looking at some of these displays. It makes you really appreciate living in a modern society. I'll definitely be back with some other friends.
Love it! Important to learn about the dark history of the past. Extremely historical and educational. A must see for every tourist!
