We have been here several times, usually when we have guests in town and we all enjoy it. Fun and interesting facts. Nice gift shop and we park for free there. We have used the Ripley's sightseeing tour at least four times. You are able to visit the Old City without too much walking. There are special designated trolly stop throughout town and you can go all day from 9 am to 5pm. The trolly guides are well informed and humorous and it's a great way to see and hear the history of St. Augustine and there's a lot to learn! One price for all day, call to check and look for coupons.
Very cool place. Many interesting things to see. Make sure you take some spare change like quarters and pennies to make souvenirs. Before you walk out you get to take a picture of your shadow. See below.
In 1950, a year after Ripley's death, the first permanent Odditorium opened in St. Augustine.
A family place really, great place to wow the kids and even yourself. You can see their replica "David" and tiny home "built in a log trunk section" for Free outside if you don't have the time to go inside. Be careful in the log home if you're tall. I still suffer from neck pain 6 years after I stood-up from a seated position and got knocked-out by a rafter.
I took my 5 year old son and 8 year old daughter. Neither were entertained here. I was semi entertained. My son was ready go ten minutes in. 30 minutes in he was begging to leave. Wasn't worth the money if you're considering it for the kids.

Loved the show when I was a boy, so we thought it would be fun to check out with our four children, ages 10-16. Between the featured collection of oddities, historical artifacts, and interactive exhibits, there was something for each of us. It was a perfect place to spend a rainy morning.
