Great place to spend the day at the beach, but watch out for the Sheriff's office, who will unreasonably bother folks about having alcohol, even if you don't.
Quaint Park West. It has six covered picnic tables, restrooms and a covered grilling area with large grates for cooking. The boat ramp allows for full-size boats to be put in deep water. Butler Park West also is a site for county glass collection for recycling; One of the most outstanding features of the Park West is the view of the Intracoastal Waterway. Sea and marsh birds flock in the savannah grasses. Amazing.
