Exquisite! This was not just a meal...it was an experience! From first "touch" with the hostess to servers and Sommelier...could not find one flaw. Our dinner choices were superb ... shrimp and grits, short ribs, hangar steak, awesome!!! My fave was the roasted oysters! Just a wonderful restaurant...cannot wait to go back and try more meals.
After researching restaurants in St Augustine. We chose Preserved for our main event of our trip. Early on service was slow but I didn't think much of it due to the larger party. Shortly after ordering the manager comes out and says he us sorry but it looks like we are about to get dumped on with rain. We ask what our options are and he said take your chances or get your food to go. We elected to get it to go. After paying the customer service turned off. We were pushed out so they could use our umbrellas on the larger party in the courtyard. To top it off our food came out in stages which made half of it cold. They food was also not to the level we expected. The duck was chewy, the crab had bits of shell throughout it, and the filet was overcooked. I called the next morning to speak with a manager and I was told there was not one on site but they would take a message and as soon as one came in they have them call me. Still waiting on that call.....
We had brunch at this restaurant yesterday for the first time. Nice restaurant and good service and good quality ingredients. However, my omelette was served barely just warm and my husband's chicken was without much flavor. They need to pay better attention, I think, in the kitchen, to avoid this type of disappointment..
Went there with my wife for my birthday. This place is as good as any that I've been to in NY, Baltimore, Philly, San Francisco etc. Service was impeccable, I wanted everything on the menu, the ambience could not have been better(we sat outside) and I can't wait to go back.
I've eaten here so many times that it's embarrassing! It's stupendous. Every single time. Every single plate! Brunch and dinner! Entree and dessert! Best restaurant in St Augustine! Hands down!
