We had a pre-hurricane lunch Saturday at Blue Hen and after finding the entire town boarded up and closed. They were doing it right. Busy but only a few minute wait, it seemed like Blue Hen was a rallying point for everyone staying for Irma. Our meal was excellent (except bacon burger a touch too salty). This place is a value and the entire menu is good.
Great neighborhood eatery. So popular (and good!) you might want to get there a little early for lunch, the place fills up fast.
Excellent breakfast choice ! very friendly staff, many different options at their menu. Very tasty and very reasonable prices. Loved it !
Came for Sunday brunch Labor Day weekend. VERY PACKED. But the 30 min wait was worth it! We had the bfast burrito, chicken biscuits and the feta/apple salad. We also tried the pimento cheese and it was delicious! Everything was hot and tasted very fresh. They also had a decent local beer selection if you're into craft beers. We will def come back here when we're in the area!
We came for breakfast and the place was jam packed. Parking is easy along the street. Breakfast burrito was absolutely fantastic! Fried Chicken biscuits were great as well. Wait time was a bit long but the food was totally worth it.
