I loved this place. Came to visit with my husband, my 12 year old son, and my mom. We rented suite with connecting rooms. Perfect and comfy. We even had a little visitor who made him/herself very known.
Close to everything, perfect breakfast provided. Comfy bed. Would have preferred thicker towels, but there were plenty of them. All in all, 5 stars!!
Love the atmosphere and the rooms. It is pleasantly haunted. Going back This July with my wife to stay in the suite. Love how it's close to everything. Would recommend you stay here at least once. The Inn keeper is nice and helpful. Answered all our questions.
We've stayed at the Ancient City Inn three years in a row and we wouldn't stay anywhere else in St. Augustine. The innkeepers are sweet folks who are down to earth and happy to help whenever they can (and we enjoy visiting with their dogs). The location is PERFECT as it is within walking distance to all the major attractions. The room we always stay in, Martha Lee's room, has the most comfortable bed we've ever had away from home. The room is cheery and is like a home away from home. We love the Ancient City Inn!
I stayed here during the St. Augustine Night of Lights. The owners were polite and helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable. It's within walking distance of the downtown area, Ripley's Believe It or Not, and Castillo de San Marcos. I would definitely come back or recommend this place to a friend.
