Nice, quaint hotel. Super friendly staff. Very accommodating. Right across the street from the fort. At the apex of all the great shops and restaurants in St Augustine.
Great staff and extremely accomodating. Rooms are bright and cheery. This is our fourth stay and plan on returning to St George Inn for our next stay in St Augustine.
My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. This little gem of an Inn, is worth every penny. The rooms were very nice, clean, and the staff were wonderful. From check in to check out the staff made sure we were comfortable and that everything was to our satisfaction. Not only will I return here to stay, I will recommend them to all my family and friends.
My mom, my dog, and I stayed at the St. George Inn... in the Nina room... and couldn't have made a better choice. Our room had a balcony with two rocking chairs and a fantastic view of everything that was happening on St. George street. There are so many restaurants and shops in walking distance of the hotel you can park your car and not have to get back in it until you're ready to leave. St. George Street is a walking street... no cars travel on this road. There are many places to sit and enjoy local music, a cocktail, or something sweet to eat! If you are interested in seeing St Augustine on a bicycle there is a bicycle shop within walking distance of the St. George Inn and you can rent bikes at a very reasonable price. There are also evening ghost tours that explain some of the spookier aspects of town and there is a fabulous Distillery that you can tour with a really unique restaurant called the Ice Plant. I strongly recommend going there. Each morning the St. George Inn host a continental breakfast in the lobby and they offer wine by the glass or bottle in the afternoon. If you stay at the St. George Inn you will not be disappointed in any way whatsoever it is a amazing place in a fantastic location in an incredible city.
The best inn I've stayed at! Great hospitality, clean rooms and very quiet and relaxing. They offered a nice breakfast of bagels, fruits, and yogurts. It was very close to all the main shops and restaurants, but was still quiet and somewhat hidden. I loved the little balconies and courtyard that I could sit down and read a book or drink a cup of coffee. Overall it was the perfect place to stay at!
